Atonement, a visually encompassing smooth blended first half - cool characters and clipped vowels. The deco of the day- i was hooked from endless summers to the genius of a one shot wonder within the chaotic miasma of a gun shot ridden, hell bought Normandy beach. I fell disappointingly on bryony and her final flat faced unclaimed spinster truth, the unborn inadequacy of her final fruit - hidden to the end , no confession , no catharsis no justifiable or righteous mend, just the cool expressionless practicality of the taut and tight hitched up in present day. Faded Passions , former glories subjugated to the cool distance of the cerebral , the hidden mass of mystery never to be revealed- too tight too proper and for me an inadequate point on which to fix this final glorious end- and thus woeful in recounting one final lust filled summer and its golden ray of youth -as always mcavoy was delectable and keira knightly ? surprisingly and haughtil...
